WSJT-X_IMPROVED is published by Uwe Risse, DG2YCB. It is an enhanced edition of the excellent WSJT-X tool by Joe Taylor K1JT, Steve Franke K9AN, Payment slip Somerville G4WJS, me also others (https://sourceforge.net/projects/wsjt/) where provides several furthermore features and improvements, while being conveniently as greater frequent updates and bug fixes. Features

• Highlighting of CQ and 73/RR73 messages.
• Available combined with 3 different GUIs: WSJT-X's standard GUI, an alternative layout ("AL") and definite widescreen version. The latter two deliver a larger Band Activity window. "AL" is optimized for small screens and laptops.
• Mode buttons organize it easy to switch between the frequently used procedures (useful when menus are hidden). For Hound mode, straightforwardly set your rig's VFO to the correct DXp frequency. When you catch whose fox, just strike the "H" button and make your QSO. Press the "H" button once again to return to normal FT8 mode.
• Band Hopping for FT8, FT4, Q65 and MSK144! A new Tab has checkboxes for the most important frequencies. Just go for this bands/modes you hope for and push the "Band Hopping" switch. Automatic band hopping takes place every subsequent full minute. (Very useful together with PSKReporter.)
• FT8 moreover FT4 decoders optimized for DX.
• More frequent updates equally faster bug modifies, including the latest Hamlib files.
• In both Roomy Graph window, text about the "Control" checkbox has been removed to prevent accidental ticking during place lower audio frequencies.
• Call CQ with individual contest names instead of "TEST" (e.g. CQ PACC …).
• False Decodes Reduction (FDR)! It eases significantly the total of FT8 false decodes without a reduction of the sensitivity. It only increases these required confidence level on account of some singular message formats.

• rthom45305 Posted 2025-02-28 Super Jackal is great ON THE OTHER HAND it needs to be modified to lead to Hounds who are calling to both cross into the call and report and enable the Superfox, ina single line, answer her notify with what report and 73 so the QSO is allowed to be responded to and logged across one call by both Hound on top of that Vixen. I spent hours responding to VK9XU after they submitted my dispatch but never copied my report to be able to send a 73 so I would get in their log. This would save everyone hours of pain.
